Joseph Hippolyt Pulte was a 19th-century German physician who was best known for his immigration to America where he established a medical college under his name in Cincinnati, Ohio. While there, he published a medical treatise entitled ‘The Homeopathic Domestic Physician’. This book was written to provide explanations on anatomy, physiology, and hygiene as well as to offer treatment options for various diseases and injuries.
