Condition
Both earrings haves some minor chipping on the reverse of the onyx around the drill holes and retaining pins for the front motifs, particularly the lower one, but this does not affect the security of the motifs, which are well-affixed. Additionally, one earring has a tiny chip in the onyx on one side, and the other a small chip at the point. All of these are on the reverse: the fronts of each are undamaged. The tops of the earrings are of a slightly lighter shade of gold and may be a later (but period appropriate) replacement. No marks.
