Description
This beautiful pewter sculpture is of a mountain man -treed- by a grizzly bear and making a stand is an Indian with lance. Great detail is given to a broken musket, possibles scattered and the skillet is upside-down in the fire. At 9 in. tall, 6.5 in. at the base. J.J. Barnum is the artist, Chilmark is the pewter foundry, marked 1987 #283/2250. Excellent condition. Date: Country (if not USA): State: City: Provenance:
