First Edition: D. Appleton, 1907 New York.
Charlotte R. Teller (pen name John Brangwyn), University of Chicago graduate, was an American writer and socialist active in NYC. The Cage first published in 1907, was endorsed by Mark Twain in the form of a letter to the actress Maude Adams. Charlotte Teller (American, 1876-1953)
