George C. Marshall PSA NM-MT 8, Signed Cut

A clipped signature, 3.625" x 2.75", labeled "Autograph" and mounted to a black backing. Boldly signed as "GC Marshall." Encapsulated, authenticated, and PSA/DNA graded NM-MT 8. The slab measures 4.25" x 7.25". Evidence of prior mounting on verso, with a small paper attached labeled "By Peggy Matheson."

George Catlett Marshall Jr. was an American soldier and statesman. He rose through the United States Army to become Chief of Staff, the day World War II began with Germany's invasion of Poland, under presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman, then served as Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense under Truman.
