Description

American Green and Black-Painted Pine Campaign Trunk, mid-19th c., inscribed "Capt. R. Mc C. Jones, R & D.R.R.", cast iron handles, w. 35 1/2 in. Provenance: Descended in the family of Confederate Captain Robert Mc Candish Jones, First Virginia Regiment via Mrs. James Bertrand Cox.
