Description:

||"DOMESTIC SHIPPING ONLY!"|| This lot is derived from 100% 'Baryta', which comes from the chemical compound 'barium sulphate'. It is a natural mineral, similar to clay and in paper is used as a coating. This Matte Baryta print is luxurious, thick and composed of the same Baryta found in double-weight Fiber papers used in the traditional black and white darkroom. This lot is a restoration print, produced 'after' the original photograph. Rather than being a one-of-a-kind work, it is an open edition, non-commercial sheet-fed mechanical print, analagous to the process used for sheet-fed photogravures. The paper is 310 GSM, Acid Free and produced in the finest paper mills of Europe. It is enclosed in a polypropolene, archival presentation pocket and reinforced before shipping.
