Royalist history in which Montjoie attributes most of the responsibility for the French Revolution to the Duc d'Orléans, that "wicked prince," who was allegedly aided by a group of Masonic conspirators. Half-titles are present in Vols. I & III but not Vol. II.

Condition
Some rubbing to spines and extremities, several small wormholes in rear cover of Vol. I; top margins of several early leaves of Vol. II ill-creased (but not the title), occasional minor foxing within; very good.
