New Caldedonia Bird Head Club. Typical honey colored, wood with cylindrical shaft and near perpendicular head shaped in the traditional bird or turtle abstracted zoomorphic form. Showing great signs of age. Minor damage to the head. Provenance: Old Honolulu collection; Stephen Meder; IMEPA Collection #6:A.09. Size: 27.75'' x 11.5'' x 2.5'' (70 x 29 x 6 cm).
