Item Details

Description

A LARGE FAMILLE VERTE TRIPLE-GOURD PORCELAIN VASE, QING
China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Of triple-gourd shape, painted with polychrome enamels and iron-red above the glaze, the lower bulb depicting immortals above crashing waves, the central and upper bulb with further figures, the neck with an ornamental border and golden rim.

Provenance: German private collection, purchased from a Dutch collection. The stand with an old collector's number.
Condition: Good condition, minor wear, manufacturing irregularities, the wood stand with cracks.

Weight: 2,418 g
Dimensions: Height 40 cm (excl. base), 46.3 cm (incl. base)
