Jean D'ylen (1886-1938) was a jewelry designer and then became a famous poster artist. He was greatly influenced by Leonetto Cappiello, as many of his posters are quite similar.
The "Filvers" poster is for a suspender company, using a smiling clown handing from his suspenders. The poster was printed on 2 separate lothographic stones as can be seen in the photos.
The poster is linen backed, measures 44" x 89 and is in excellent condition.
