Rare Original Poster "Stress & Density" for Acclaimed Photographer Peter Beard's 1998 Exhibit in Germany featuring his Famous Work "Heart Attack City" w/ Marilyn Monroe Photo... Poster is mounted and well-framed under Lucite. Peter Hill Beard (January 22, 1938 to April 19, 2020) was an recognized American artist, photographer, diarist and writer who lived and worked in New York City, Montauk and Kenya. His photographs of Africa, African animals and the journals that often integrated his photographs, have been widely shown and published since the 1960s. "Heart Attack City", a large and brilliantly complex work combines Peter Beard's deep interest in the natural world and his fascination with beauty. The juxtaposition of Marilyn Monroe with Beard's aerial photographs of the carcasses of dead elephants from Kenya's Tsavo National Park eloquently draws these themes together within an impressive and visually dazzling composition.
