Description
This important sword belonged to the Monarch Wu called Fuchai of the Spring & Autumn Period. He was the Monarch between 495-473 BC. This is a genuine gilt bronze sword of Fuchai and is considered a National Treasure. This sword has engraved with eight Bird-worm scripts meaning: Monarch Wu Fuchai's personal sword. He had made several swords for himself and this was the best ever discovered. no rust was found on the sword after more than 2000 years and it was able to slice 15 sheets of paper as shown in the video below. This sword is stored in an original lacquer wood box and is still in excellent condition today. It is decorated with turquoise and is still left intact.
