A good vintage signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Connery in a half-length pose, wearing military uniform and a beret in costume as (ex-Sergeant Major) Trooper Joe Roberts of the Royal Tank Regiment in a scene from the British prison drama film The Hill (1965). Signed by Connery in black fountain pen ink to a clear area of the background. A few very minor, light smudges to the signature and inscription. A couple of small, extremely minor, light stains and a few corner creases, otherwise VG Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
