Coolidge, George. BOSTON ALMANAC FOR THE YEAR 1862 [AND 1863]. 340 pp., + 20 ads pp. (plus ads to each pastedown); 80, 181-303, 396-431 pp. (pagination irregular though text continuous), and 35 pp. of ads. Bound in original blindstamped cloth. 24mo. *********** Both are rich with content relating to the Civil War (including rosters, current strength of Union forces, and similar.) Sections near front have blank memoranda leaves, some with period manuscript notes. Numerous woodcuts to include titles, ads, and some headpieces.
Condition
Cloth with fading, 1862 issue with binding pulled/detached from block and with initial grouping of ads detached at front, overall the pair Good+. Sold as-is.
