BICKERSTAFF'S NEW-ENGLAND ALMANACK, FOR … 1778. Norwich: J. Trumbull, [1777]. 12mo. [24] pp. Bickerstaff's preface echoes the sentiments of the Declaration of Independence, as he wishes his readers "Freedom, Liberty, Peace, and Safety… to these United States." At the end appears and 1 1/2 page excerpt entitled "A few Thoughts on the Times" which is unattributed here but is taken from Benjamin Franklin's "The Way to Wealth."
Condition
Re-stitched, some fading of text, soiling, fraying to edges, some early ink marginalia. Fair.
