Stunning Tintype of a Young Native American Woman

A ninth plate tintype of a young Native American woman, dressed in a dark dress decorated with a white necktie and a large button at the collar. She is wearing black earrings and has her hair neatly tied back, along with a ribbon tied in a bow at the top of her head. Housed in a small, embossed case. There is no identification of the woman, nor any maker's information for the case. Measuring 2" x 2.5", n.d., n.d. [ca. 1860s]. The tintype has some minor imperfections and creasing.
