Text written by Sanders in English with History & Culture sections written by R. A. Rolfe in English, German and French for each orchid. Illustrations in color after Henry G. Moon and printed by Joseph Mansell Del.et.Lith.-, London W.C.
Published by F. Sander & Co., Orchid Growers & Importers, St. Albans, London, 1892 and 1894. Bound by D.A. Lowthime - 17 Lamb's Conduit St., London with their gilt stamp, bottom of inside cover of each volume.
Crest with "Ex Libris Herbert S. Leon" printed on paper and adhered to inside cover of each volume. Dimensions reflect the largest volume, Vol. I. Weight reflects the entire lot.
Condition
This lot is in overall good condition with some of the illustrations adhering to the facing protective thin-paper guards. This lot has wear to the binding commensurate with age and use. This lot has toning and foxing around the perimeter of the pages. This lot has a few pencil notations on inside cover and last pages of each volume. This lot has a minor dent in front cover board in the upper right edge of Vol. II.
