Description
Round, deeper towards center, curved rim. From the time of Josef Adam Hannong, 1759 - 1762. H. 4 cm; diameter 22.5 cm. Porcelain, white, glazed, very fine multi-colored painting on glazing, windmill-like ribbon with checkered design in shades of red, dividing the surface into four parts, in each of the remaining spaces a bird on a branch, resp. a flower bouquet in the middle, rim contours with rocaille ornaments in gold, gold line all around. Backside marked: manufacturer's mark (rising lion, blue, below glazing). F. H. Hofmann, Geschichte der Bayerischen Porzellan-Manufaktur Nymphenburg, vol.
