Vol I: [3], 4-508pp. Vol II: [3], 4-273, [i], App. 146pp, page 273 mis-paginated "373." Lacking port and map. Errata is in lower portion of each volume’s last page. Contemp ½ leather and marbled board. Joints split. Previous owner’s notes pencilled on rear endpapers. Minor foxing. Occasional dampstains. Versos of titles have pencil notation at upper left. Vol I: Title loose, front of volume lightly dampstained. Loss to Vol II’s spine. Ink number in Vol II’s first text page’s lower margin. “…The author was a native of Yorkshire, England, who settled in Philadelphia in 1759, where he resided till his death in 1813.
