VICTORIA: (1819-1901) Queen of the United Kingdom Great Britain & Ireland 1837-1901. Autograph Envelope signed, The Q, addressed in her hand to Sir Henry Ponsonby. The black bordered mourning envelope bears her black monogram to the verso. Together with Henry Ponsonby (1825-1895) British Soldier & Private Secretary to Queen Victoria 1870-95. A.L.S., Henry F. Ponsonby, one page, 8vo, Windsor Castle, 29th November 1893, to A. Newdell, thanking him for a book of illustrations and press extracts of the Royal wedding which he had sent to Queen Victoria. Also including Charles Beaumont Phipps (1801-1866) British Soldier & Courtier, Private Secretary to Prince Albert. Keeper of the Privy Purse 1849-66. A.L.S., C B Phipps, one page, 8vo, Buckingham Palace, 2nd July 1851, to Campbell, informing him that 'The Queen would wish to begin at 8 o'clock, and to be over by eleven'. At the head of the page is an A.N.S. by Campbell enquiring 'At what hour should the suite be summoned to accord with this'. With blank integral leaf. VG, 3 €125-150
