Lot of 3 - late 19th century rare old black and white photographs on early thin gelatin silver paper, #1 - views of Buffalo Bill sitting on the ground in front of a teepee, his rifle in the view, talking to group of standing Native American Indians in full dress including Chef with full head dress, #2 Cody posing with a large group of Indians in front of teepee, 2 in full head dress; #3 standing Cody in a conversation with one Indian pointing his finger at Cody, two long guns / rifles laying between them on the ground, teepee just behind them with a large group of men and boys watching conversation - some of them on horseback. William Frederick “Buffalo Bill†Cody was born in Le Claire, Iowa in 1846. In 1883, Buffalo Bill created the Wild West show. The circus-like attraction was successful for decades and played to massive crowds all over the world.. Condition - lightly scotch taped to matting with double stick tape at edges. #3 with tiny tear in corner, we did not attempt to remove any of the scotch tape. Each measures approximately 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". We recommend hands-on previewing by perspective bidders as we are not experts in this photography,
