Very solid 18th century psalm book and catechism in full leather with dedication page signed by Pastor Wilhelm Leendert Krieger, the man honored in the dedication. Full title: Het Boek der Psalmen, Nevens de Gezangen bij de Hervormde Kerk van Nederland in Gebruik; Door Last van de Hoog Mog: Heeren Staaten General der Vereenigde Nederlanden, Uit drie Berijmingen, In den Jaare 1773, Gekooren, Met de noodige daar in gemaakte veranderingen. Published 1789 in Utrecht by Gisbert Timon van Paddenburg, en Zoon. Five raised bands on spine. Two tiny scuffs on front cover and one on back. Minor cracking to leather on spine. Minor rubbing to board edges. All edges gilt. 232 pages plus 73-page catechism. 5 x 7.75
