White Collection; Acquired from the above. Property from the Estate of Charles Schalebaum Lot comprising: JFK-owned baseball and stand, baseball signed by Jimmy Piersall of the Boston Red Sox; Beginning Spanish book in dustcover, signed to interior John F. Kennedy, 624 Mayfield Ave, Standord California; Do you Know Labor? book in dustcover, inscribed to interior, John F. Kennedy; Presidential Art Medal book with 18 bronze medals spanning Washington to US Grant; Note: The signature to the book on the left (Do you know Labor?) may be an identification written in another hand. The signature to the book to the right (Beginning Spanish) has been traced in another hand, over the original red ink. The baseball comes with a letter from Evelyn Lincoln, personal secretary to JFK, stating that the baseball was autographed for JFK when he was a United States Senator by Jimmy Piersall of the Boston Red Sox.
