Description
an bottle vase with an extended cylindrical
rim with a white slightly rolled edge in the center. The vase features a revolving underglazed copper-red series of designs on a white ground. The first three under the extended rim are Greek keys, the fourth a muted key-fret, the fifth one of rolling waves and the sixth another Greek key. The upper body (and seventh) depicts two dragons and phoenixes. The eighth another meander and the ninth four dragons. The lower body displays bands of rolling waves, phoenixes and dragons, qilin and cresting waves. The last band of four dragons complete the design. Kangxi Reign mark, Qing Dynasty.
Measurements: Height: 9 1/2" Width: 6"
