Description
Group of Four Pieces of Vintage Gucci Soft Sided Luggage, 20th c., of coated canvas, with the Gucci monogram and leather accents, consisting of an overnight bag; a garment suitcase; a large suitcase with leather straps; and a larger suitcase with leather straps, Largest- H.- 21 1/2 in., W.- 26 1/2 in., D.- 8 in. (4 Pcs.)
Condition
As found.
Smallest bag: leather worn on handles with 1” tear on underside. Leather fraying at edges of handles. Water damage to interior. Hole in bottom corner of bag.
Suit bag: 2 ½” incision on the front of the bag with significant damage (scuffing) to print surrounding the slit. Leather worn throughout with splitting on handles. Slight discoloration to interior.
Medium bag: Scuffs on leather band throughout. Leather deteriorating and cracking on the buckle.
Largest bag: 2” segment of leather missing from handle. Scuffs and wearing to the handle throughout. Leather on buckles stiff and beginning to crack. Worn and frayed at edges. Scratches and scuffs to leather band throughout. Residue spots on one side of bag and several spots of missing print. Small pieces of print missing on other side as well. Cluster of flea-sized red spots on interior lining.
All zippers functional.
