This is a rare first edition of "Story of the Wild West and Camp-Fire Chats" written by Buffalo Bill and published in 1888. The book features stories and accounts of famous Western figures such as Kit Carson, Buffalo Bill, Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Sam Houston and many more. The cover is wonderfully decorated with scenes from the Old West and there are numerous illustrations throughout the book, including a chromolithograph opposite the title page. The book is in good condition for its age, there are older repairs made to the cover. It measures 6.5" x 8.75" and is 766 pages.
