New York and Philadelphia: Printed by E.G. Dorsey for J.J. Audubon and J.B. Chevalier, 1840-1844. 1st ed. 7 vols., octavo with quarter bound in dark leather with raised bands and gilt writing, having green/black marble boards. Including 500 hand-colored lithograph plates, after original watercolors and aquatint engravings by J.J. Audubon.

Wear to leather binding, foxing to pages, some loose pages and tape repairs, having book plates to front cover.
