Werner Heisenberg Autographed Letter Signed
Single page autograph letter signed 8.25" x 11.5", on personal letterhead of "Prof. W. Heisenberg", Penned in German and dated "July 13, 1957". Signed by Heisenberg as "Werner Heisenberg". Fine condition.
German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics. Translation as shown below:
"I have written to Hess, and if I get an answer from him, you will hear from me again. In addition, I wanted to write to you that in my institute in the autumn probably no later than 1 Oct., the vacancy of a library writer becomes available. However this post is not very highly paid (T.O.A. VIII, maybe later VII), but in case Hess has no way of getting you into the research community, it would be a first step. Anyway, I would be happy to help you. With many regards."
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
