1p typed letter signed by President Herbert Hoover (1874-1964) as "Herbert Hoover" at lower right. Written at the White House in Washington, D.C. on October 30, 1931. On watermarked cream bifold stationery with "The White House / Washington" letterhead. The remaining pages are blank.
