This book includes notable stories such as ‘How a Witch was Caught’, ‘How Black Snake Caught the Wolf’, and ‘Brother Rabbit’s Courtship’. This first edition includes the fine illustrations of Edward Kemble, who also provided illustrations for the much more popular ‘Uncle Remus Songs and Sayings’.
