The 9th Regiment New Hampshire Volunteers was a Union infantry regiment during the Civil War. At the end of the 19th-century, author Edward Oliver Lord published an historical account of the 9th Regiment, complete with portraits of notable figures from the regiment.
This example was signed by a former soldier of the regiment, Lt. Charles W. Wilcox who was twice a prisoner of war!
