Superb All Star Bat with 100s of Signatures, Incl. Campanella, Snider, Banks, and Many More, JSA Certificate

Amazing collectors wooden baseball bat Louisville Slugger/Hillerich & Bradsby. Model S174, dated August 1, 1953. Signed throughout by numerous players, in blue and black ink, including Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Ernie Banks, Gus Bell, Hoyt Wilhelm, and Gil Hodges. Also signed by players who were not on the 1953 teams, including Cliff Chambers, Jim Gilliam, Bob Kelly, Clyde King, Willard Marshall, Paul LaPalme, Frank Baumholtz, and many others. Length 34.75". Light wear, but very good condition.

The 1953 MLB All-Star Game was held on July 14, 1953 at Crosley Field in Cincinnati. Managed by Casey Stengel of the New York Yankees and Charlie Dressen of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The game was won by the National League, 5-1.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
