[Jack Ruby] 1960s Bold and Provocative Night Club Ephemera Archive

A small archive of night club memorabilia related to Jack Ruby and the 1960s. With numerous business cards, menus, and a photograph. From the collection of Ron Hoskins, assassinologist.

Includes the following:

Jack Ruby Facsimile Signature on Business Card. Measuring 3.5" x 2", Dallas, Texas, undated. A Carousel Club business card, with a printed signature on the back reading "Admit 2/Jack Ruby." Light bumping to corners.

Club Vegas Guest Business Card. Measuring 3.75" x 2", Dallas, Texas, undated. A blank card, advertising "Dancing Until 2:00 AM." Lightly toned.

Three Vintage "There's One At Every Bar!" Cards. Measuring 3.5" x 2" each, no place, undated. A novelty cartoon card, depicting patrons at a bar with a horse's ass. Very fine.

JFK, RFK, MLK and MJK Conspiracy Postcard. A blank postcard, measuring 6" x 4", [Dallas], undated. A photograph on the front is of a billboard reading "Who Killed J.F.K., R.F.K., M.L.K., M.J.K.?" On verso reads, "Dear ____ help us ask the Tough questions in Campaign '92 I'm buying this one…Mr. President: Oliver Stone's movie shows Oswald didn't do it…Please, WHO DID?" Produced by Cutler Designs, Robert B. Cutler, who founded the Conspiracy Museum in Dallas. Very fine.

Colony Club Menu and Mailing Souvenir. 4pp of a bifolium, 6" x 8.75", [Gardena, California], undated. A black and pink menu, decorated with sketches and photographs of scantily clad or half-naked women. Light wear and bumping.

500 Club Pop-Up Drink Pricing Card. Measures 3.75" x 10.5" when laid flat, [Atlantic City, New Jersey], circa 1962-1963. With a pin-up image of "1962 Anatomy Award" Winner, Jada. Also provides drink prices. Light wear and bumping.

Sky Club Photograph. Measuring 7" x 5", Dallas, Texas, undated. A black and white image of two couples, seated at a club table. Produced by Tip Top Photo Service and housed in a blue paper souvenir portfolio, decorated with the club's name in gilt. Minor toning to edges. Photo lightly faded.
