Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis Boldly Signed Card, PSA Slabbed and Graded NM 7

1p, measuring 3.75" x 2.75", no place, undated. A small card signed "Louis D. Brandeis." The card has been encapsulated and graded NM 7. With flattened folds. Boldly signed, with minor contemporary smudging.

Louis Dembitz Brandeis (1856-1941) graduated from Harvard Law School at the age of 20, rumored to have the highest grade point average in the school's history. He focus early on public causes, which resulted in him being nicknamed the "People's Lawyer". In 1916, President Wilson nominated him to be a member of the Supreme Court, and although the nomination was highly contested, he was confirmed on June 1, 1916. Brandeis went on to serve on the Supreme Court until his retirement in 1939.
